Jacob Schram joined Norwegian as Chief Executive Officer in January 2020. Schram holds a Master of Science in Economics and Strategy from Copenhagen Business School. Jacob has several years of experience from large international companies. His experience includes 22 years including Head of Statoil Fuel & Retail (SFR), Senior Advisor at McKinsey, Director of Public Relations at McDonalds Norway and European Director at the Canadian enterprise Alimentation Couch-Tard that had more than 2000 services stations all around Europe under the name Circle.
Jacob served as Group President in Statoil Fuel & Retail for Europe for a period of 14 years until he stepped down in 2018. Under this period, he led the process of publicly listing for SFR on the Norwegian Stock Exchange. In addition to this, he led the global rebranding of 10,000 fuel and convenience stores from Statoil to Circle K. During 2019, he worked with private investments, start-ups, and presentations related to his book “The Essence of Business”.
